Welcome to the American Hop Museum website. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any services, donations, or purchases made through it.
By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Using This Website
This website provides educational and informational content, museum news, events, and blog material, along with opportunities to donate, sponsor, and shop. You must be at least 13 years old to use this website. To make a donation, sponsorship, or purchase, you must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
We may update, change, or remove website content, offerings, or features at any time without notice.
Donations & Sponsorships
The American Hop Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN 91-1606069).

Donations may be made from anywhere in the world and may be one-time or recurring (such as monthly gifts)

Online donations, sponsorships, and even registrations are processed through Zeffy and its payment processing partners.

Donors receive an immediate receipt and may also receive a year-end tax summary by email or mail.

Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. :If a sponsorship or event payment includes goods, services, or other benefits, the deductible amount may be reduced by their value. Please consultant your tax advisor with any questions.

Recurring donors can manage or cancel their gift using the link in their Zeffy receipt email or by contacting us.
Optional Zeffy Contribution: When donating or paying for events through Zeffy, you may be offered the option to make a voluntary contribution to support Zeffy's platform. This contribution is optional and chosen by you at the checkout. It is separate from your donation to the Museum, is not retained by the Museum, is paid directly to Zeffy, and may not be automatically refundable if your donation or event purchase is refunded.

Online Store Purchases

Online merchandise sales are available only within the United States. International orders are not accepted.

Prices, availability, and shipping terms may change without notice.

Sales tax is calculated based on the delivery address and applicable state and local laws.

We may cancel and refund an order if an items is mispriced, incorrectly described, or unavailable.

These Terms apply to purchases made on this website. In-person purchases at the museum gift shop are handled at the museum.
Payments, Processing, & Disputes
Online donations and sponsorships are processed by Zeffy and its payment partners. Online store purchases are processed by WIX Payments. All payments are subject to the terms and privacy practices of the applicable payment provider.
The American Hop Museum does not directly collect, store, or process payment card or bank account information.
Payment platforms may apply security reviews, fraud holds, and payout schedules, and the timing of fund transfers is determined by them and the banking system. The Museum is not responsible for errors, delays, holds, service interruptions, or other actions taken by payment processors or financial institutions.
If you dispute a transaction with your bank or card provider, the dispute will be handled according to that institution's policies, and the Museum does not control its process or timeline. Investigations may take several weeks or months. If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it quickly.
