Port Townsend Pale Ale

    This rich tawny colored ale has an assertive hop flavor derived from a blend of the finest imported and Northwestern whole hops. The taste of a smooth malt background is quickly followed by a distinctive and slightly lingering Cascade hop finish.


Boatyard Bitter

Hops: Traditional Fuggles and Kent Golding hops

   Traditional Fuggles and Kent Golding hops (imported from England) dominate the flavor of this English style pale ale. British grown Maris Otter barley lends a round and smooth malt flavor. Truly a classic style.

The 2004 Silver Medal Winner at the North American Brewers Awards held in Idaho.  
This ale won in the category of English (Special) Best Bitter


Barley Wine

Hops: Galena, Cascade

   At 10.5% alcohol by volume, barley wine style ale is in a class all its own. Intense caramelized flavors create sweetness which is balanced by huge additions of Galena hops. Cascade aromatic hops are added at the end of the boil to compliment this strongest of ales.


Peeping Peater Scotch Ale

   An array of brown, roasted, and biscuit malts create this rich and malty ale. An extended two hour boil develops caramelized flavors as well as its dark color. A small addition of peat smoked barley adds a slight smoky flavor.

   In tribute to Chief Chetzemoka we named our Golden Ale. Pale malts combined with Northwest whole leaf hops and a touch of crystal malts create this highly drinkable light ale. Aromatic hops add a crisp clean hop finish to make this ale a true Port Townsend treasure.

   Characterized by intense brown roasted malt flavors, this full bodied ale is deep reddish brown in color. A bold hop bitterness is balanced by a healthy addition of caramel malts. Cascade hops provide a flowery and aromatic hop finish.

   Our winter ale is made from a blend of pale and crystal malts, roasted barley and Belgian aromatic malts. Cooler fermentation and a longer aging time adds further complexity to this Old Ale style
